EBD Global Optimum is in a partnership with Antea Belgium, part of Antea Group for delivering a National Climate Transparency System for Cabo Verde. The work at hand includes Cabo Verde’s efforts in the implementation of the UN’s Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCCC) through its Climate Action Program (CAP). The CAP is the national umbrella program that facilitates the implementation of climate action in country and also the national reporting on progress towards the goals of the Paris Agreement on climate, as these have been outlined Cabo Verde’s Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC). The national transparency system will directly support reporting to the UNFCCC through the Biennial Transparency Report (BTR) through the institutionalization of clear rules and responsibilities regarding data collection, analysis, and reporting, contributing thereby to the implementation of the Paris Agreement
